The best thing you can do for yourself to make 2018 your best year yet is to create a plan of action that will elevate your physical, spiritual and mental being to new levels.  We're all making bigger and brighter goals to keep us inspired, and I've come up with a few goals that can be applied to our everyday lives.

Seek A Mentor

Growing a relationship with a woman that you admire can definitely be a unique experience.  A relationship with your mentor allows you to absorb so much knowledge, wisdom and life lessons.  Your mentor can help you outline your career goals and set up a step-by-step game plan to achieve your success.   Your coach can help you plant the seeds to your success by introducing you to the right people, exposing your weaknesses and helping you build your confidence. She'll literally be your personal cheerleader and pull out the potential that you may not see in yourself.

Get In Tune With Your Spiritual Being

There are so many significant benefits of embracing your spirituality. Spiritual growth can help you reveal your life's purpose and provide clarity in times of chaos and confusion.  It teaches us the spirit of love, peace, and kindness and lifts our mood.  With a perfect balance of meditation, exercise, prayer, and scripture studies, your body and spirit are healthier and days are filled with peace and well-being.  

Keep A Journal 

When we think of journaling, our minds instantly go back to the 6th grade where we wrote in our diaries about our secret crush, annoying little brother and plans to take over the world.  But as an adult and girl boss that you are, journaling is a critical way to manage your short and long-term goals.  It can bring out creativity, improve your decision making and spotlights your patterns and habits that could be hindering your goals.

Enjoy Your Life

This may sound like a no-brainer, but with crowded schedules, fast-paced environments, and a success-driven mindset,  it's so easy to lose yourself in your journey.  Remeber to make time to just enjoy life.  

Set Aside Time for Self-Care

Ladies, there are so many goals we can set for the new year, but your self-care is a vital part of your success. Your body and well being is priority #1.  Give yourself permission to enjoy time spent away from your day to day responsibilities without feeling guilty or ashamed.  Have a spa day, send the kids the grandma's for the weekend or enjoy a staycation at your favorite hotel. When you take care of your needs first, you become patient, focused and achieve a greater sense of fulfillment.
